Bio

Jed Davies, became the Head Coach of the UPEI women’s and men's soccer teams December 2024. Davies takes over for Page, who earned four AUS Coach of the Year honours as well as CIS Coach of the Year in 2002. Page coached the men's team since 2000, capturing an AUS title in 2002 and a CIS bronze medal in 2014. Page also coached the women's team since 2020.

Prior to joining UPEI, Coach Davies served as a first team assistant coach for several professional clubs, including HFX Wanderers FC (2023-2024), Miami FC (2021-2022), and Ottawa Fury FC (2016-2019). He also held the position of Head Coach for HFX Wanderers' U21 and U23 programs from 2023-2024.

Coach Davies worked as an analyst-consultant for the Iran National Team at the 2018 World Cup and Estonia National Team during their European Qualification Stage in 2015.  

Coach Davies, is a Canadian A License coach and has also held leadership roles in both coach and youth development in England and in Canada between 2014-2024, working with players as they progress from youth soccer into professional careers in Canada, USA, England, Croatia, Italy, Germany and France. 

Coach Davies has published two books about strategy, tactics and team playing style development: The Philosophy of Football - In Shadows of Marcelo Bielsa (RocketBird LDN, 2016) and Coaching the Tiki-Taka Style of Play (SoccerTutor, 2013).
