Regan Cornford is a first-year science student-athlete from Chateauguay, Quebec, who is quietly putting together an AUS All-Rookie Team-worthy season. In the team's January 9 win over Dalhousie University, Cornford scored 10 points with eight rebounds and two steals off the bench.
"Regan had a huge impact in our win against Dalhousie," said Matt Gamblin, UPEI Women's Basketball head coach. "She has grown every week this season and is turning into a consistent double-double threat. Regan leads all rookies and is second among all players in the AUS in field goal percentage."
