Livi Lawlor, a third-year science student from Charlottetown, helped UPEI secure their third straight Atlantic University Field Hockey championship, scoring the game-winning goal in the extra round of the shootout on October 20. During the awards ceremony after the game, the midfielder was named the league MVP.
"Livi was crucial in our championship win this weekend, scoring the winning goal in the sudden death shootout. During the game, her skill and field awareness not only created offensive chances but also bolstered our defence," said head coach Lacey MacLauchlan.
