Kayla Batchilder is a third-year kinesiology student from Charlottetown, PEI. She scored the third goal in the 3-0 championship-clinching win over the Dalhousie University Tigers on October 19. She was also named the Atlantic University Field Hockey (AUFH) MVP and a league all-star.
"Kayla is an offensive threat who helped create numerous scoring opportunities in both the semifinal and championship games," said Lacey MacLauchlan, UPEI Field Hockey head coach. "She played a key role in securing the championship win."
