Kayla Batchilder is a third-year kinesiology student from Charlottetown, PEI. She wasted no time making her mark on the new season, lighting up the Atlantic University Field Hockey tournament which was held at UPEI with eight goals across four games on September 20 and 21.
"Kayla played an instrumental role in our attack all weekend, not only with her goal scoring but also by generating many other opportunities for the team," said UPEI Women's Field Hockey head coach Lacey MacLauchlan.
