Helena Ikpotokin, a third-year science student from Dublin, Ireland, had a spectacular performance at the Winnipeg Open Athletic (WOA) Winter Open in Winnipeg, Manitoba, held on January 17 and 18. She won the 60 metres (7.94), 200 metres (25.53), and 300 metres (40.75) sprints in the same day.
"After last season, Helena made a decision to increase her level of commitment, effort, and attention to detail, and her performances this season have been the result of a great deal of hard work," said coach Damon MacDonald.
