Ultimate Club Team

The UPEI Ultimate Club Team, divided into two teams of UPEI 1 and UPEI 2, returned home with some great learning and development experience after competing in the C4P tournament in Halifax November 3 – 5.  

They faced some tough, high-calibre teams with UPEI 2 losing each game and UPEI 1 taking their only win over UPEI 2. UPEI 1 gave The Halifax Free Agent team a run for their money, leading most of the game, but lost in the last minute of play. 

Head coach Julia Major and player-coach, Luke McCarvill, both agreed that “even though we ended up at the bottom of the standings, we were super happy with the team’s performance and development.” 

The team will be moving indoors with their practices for the winter and look forward to playing in their next tournament in New Brunswick in January.
