The UPEI Women's Rugby team enjoyed a stellar weekend of exhibition play in Brunswick, Maine.

Rebecca Chapman and Leah Corrigan also added tries while Andrews added another conversion finishing the game with a 19- 7 win.
Later in the day the Panthers faced host school Bowdoin College and they hit the ground running. The final score was 47-7 with individual tries from Holly Jones, Kennedy Laybolt, Rebecca Chapman, Anneke Dykerman, Lauren Chamberlain and two tries from Holly Hartlan. Chamberlain added six conversions to the points tally.
This was more than just a couple of games; it was an opportunity to meet fellow student-athletes and share individual experiences. The team bonded together during the exhibition trip. Captain Emily Keen commented, "The exhibition games gave us a great opportunity to meet new players and prepare for our season. We started a little slow against Harvard but we really found our groove against Bowdoin and worked well together as a team. We look forward to our first league game this weekend".
UPEI travels to Wolfville on Sunday to play Acadia, game time 2:00 pm. The game will be webcast on austv.ca.
