Lauren Rainford
Lauren Rainford is an education student from Toronto, Ontario. She showcased her all-around game last weekend in a split with the Memorial University Sea-Hawks. The fourth-year guard averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 3.0 blocks, and 2.5 steals per game. Rainford also eclipsed 1,000 career points in the February 9 game, joining seven other Panthers to reach the milestone.
"Lauren put together a very impactful Game 1, which saw her eclipse the 1000-point mark," said head coach Matt Gamblin. "But what really stood out to me were her assists and rebounds this weekend. She battled in Game 2 as we fell short in our final home game of the season. Lauren has had a standout career with the Panthers, and it was very exciting to be able to deliver a senior send-off together with her sister, Aiden."
