UPEI hosts St FX in rare Tuesday night game
After a couple of times trying to play this game the weather looks like it will cooperate tonight as UPEI (11-9-3) hosts St FX (11-9-3) in a battle of teams with identical records and tied for fourth place in the AUS. Gametime is 7pm at MacLauchlan Arena.
UPEI is coming off the short-end (4-3) of an overtime game against Moncton, Saturday night in New Brunswick. That followed up a 9-4 loss to top-ranked UNB at MacLauchlan Arena Friday night. Against the Red Shirts, Newcomer Luke Kirwan scored his first goal - two in fact - as a Panther.
UPEI (11-9-3) sits tied for third place with St. FX (11-9-3) in the AUS Conference. If you can't make it to the game you can always watch the best duo in the conference - play-by-play with Dennis King and colour commentating by Norman Back on austv.ca
